These are the ten commandments of being green. Or do you have any other points we missed?

  1. Move near to public transport connections
  2. Walk for shopping within your town
  3. Travel using the train, not the plane
  4. Buy locally produced things
  5. Shop for food matching the time of year
  6. Take someone with you when using a car, don’t drive alone
  7. Switch off your technical stuff by unplugging it, no standby function
  8. Don’t waste hot water, use the shower with two or more people together
  9. slow down your air conditioning, never use it outsides
  10. Don’t take you car driving to the fitness centre

This website not only talks about climate change, we also listen to ourselves. As of today our hosting provider is using 100 percent waterpowered energy resources. Resulting in a reduction of 9300 tons of CO2 every year. In addition there was an energy reduction of thirty percent for the complete server farm.

The pace of desaster is speeding up, but the human reaction is slow as ever. So what should the local political leaders do? In this case in a small town in germany with about 78000 people they will order you to be green. With a full selection of red tape – remember, this is germany – today might start a new era. With the votes of the left wing, the even more left wing and the green party, a new law will be created. Every roof in this town has to get a solar powered equipment for getting hot water. Only Spain and Israel have some similar law.

Not very astonishing the first voices raise against this. And one of them is an association of fuel sellers, Do they realy fear their oil becomes rancid?

What a surprising act. We don’t like it, so we condemn the messenger.
